What do you do to get the users to your community and once they are there how to do you make them active?
I still do the things the old way. I participate on sites that are of the same topic as mine. I'll drop a link to my site from time to time. I get pretty good results since I take the time to post a well thought out reply and try to be as helpful as possible.
It is much harder today to get active users to a site, but, it can still be done.
